Haverfordwest Family Business Joins The Nissan Network

A PEMBROKESHIRE family business with a 170-year history is the latest in the UK to join the Nissan dealer network.

Following a £500,000 investment and redevelopment, Pembroke Motor Services in Haverfordwest has opened PMS Nissan alongside its other operations.

The dealership, on Salutation Square, has been designed to meet Nissan’s 21st century retail concept, providing a market-leading experience for customers thanks to its sleek and futuristic overall look.

The showroom has space for seven cars from the Nissan range as well as welcoming and comfortable waiting and consultation areas, while outside there’s room for around 60 more Nissan vehicles, as well as a rapid charger for electric vehicles.

In addition to sales, the dealership can provide parts, MOTs, servicing and repair with its 16-bay workshop, and the team has received extensive Nissan training to ensure they meet the highest brand standards.

The opening has also created six new jobs across all departments, to support the Sales Manager Nick Hibben, Finance Director Jane Rowed and Aftersales Manager Damian Arthur.

Managing director John Green, whose family has traded in Haverfordwest since 1843 when they began selling bicycles and iron products, said: “Nissan is a fantastic brand and as soon as we heard there was an opportunity to begin a franchise in this area, we jumped at the chance.

“Nissan has such an exciting and innovative outlook, with its EV technologies, new designs and stellar reputation. We’ve also been really impressed with the training opportunities for our staff, whatever department they work in. It shows they are as invested in our staff as we are.

“We’re excited and honoured to be able to bring Nissan to the people of Pembrokeshire and look forward to welcoming them to our stunning new showroom soon.”
