WORKING at Head Office on the graduate scheme, Natalie Row spends most of her time at her desk, but recently she had the opportunity to work on the Nissan stand (pictured) at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which was hard work but very rewarding. Here she shares her experiences…
‘A lot of very happy customers spoke to me about how delighted they were with their cars and the service they were receiving from you, their dealers – so a big thank you for making customers so pleased that they actively approached me to tell me how great their ownership experience was.
‘The Juke Nismo received some very mixed reviews – some people absolutely loved it and couldn’t wait to get one, whilst other were … less keen.
‘But this is the type of Marmite “love it or hate it” reaction that we fully expected – and even those that hated the car thought it was distinctive and engaged in a discussion about it.
‘Walking around some of the other stands at Goodwood, ours really stood out for how engaging and interactive it was.
‘The virtual reality skydive was incredibly popular (so much so that I wasn’t allowed a go!) and it was nice to hear that people understood how this fitted with our brand and the new Juke campaign.
‘I also had a chance to speak to some of you (several sales staff and mechanics) and it was great to hear the positive feedback about the stand and the new Juke Nismo which will be built at Sunderland.

‘The general feeling towards the Nissan brand was very positive, and even those who had previously not been fans of Nissan mentioned the creation of new jobs at Sunderland as admirable in the current financial climate.
‘Most of the people I spoke to understood that Nissan is focussing on delivering innovation and excitement for everyone, whether this is through an experimental racing car such as the DeltaWing; through giving people an unrivalled opportunity in the GT Academy; bringing out exciting production models like the Juke Nismo; or fundamentally changing the way we drive with the LEAF.
‘All in all I had a great experience working on the stand and a big thank you to all of you for helping represent our brand in such a great way.’
