NISSAN’s range of light commercial vehicles is perfect for adventurous holiday breaks thanks to conversions available on the NV200, e-NV200 and NV300 vans.
The trio of versatile and practical camper vans is ideal for touring, so family or friends can watch the sun set over the sea or fall asleep looking at the stars.
Each vehicle features a spacious interior for up to four people to live and travel while
enjoying the nomadic lifestyle. Fully integrated are all the modern conveniences, including a cooker, refrigerator, sink with running water and plenty of storage space.
At nightfall each can be converted into a comfortable bedroom, with a high-density foam mattress for two people, all-round window shades and a heating/cooling system. The extra space of the NV300 – the largest of the three – allows for the creation of a second double bed in the raised ceiling.
A customisation catalogue means users can configure their Nissan camper according to their specific needs, whether it’s solar panels for charging appliances or an awning for shade. All that’s left to do is choose the destination and hit the open road.
The NV300 is available in two body lengths – 4,399mm and 5,399mm – while the NV200 and e-NV200 are available in just one, at 4,400mm. Each model can specified in two distinct equipment grades, Pacific and Weekender.
The NV200 and NV300 are powered by proven Nissan diesel engine technology – 1.5-litre and 1.6-litre respectively. For travellers who truly want to be at one with the environment, the all-electric e-NV200 camper van is the perfect travelling companion. Powered by a state-of-the-art 40 kWh battery, it has an official combined cycle range of 280km (NEDC) and 200km (WLTP) between charges.
Emilio Portillo, general manager, LCV Sales and Business Development, Nissan Europe, said: “The new Nissan camper van range will allow the most adventurous travellers to have ‘a room with a view’ at the most incredible places in the world. Where those are is up to them.”
Nissan first displayed the camper van conversions in May 2018 at the Madrid Motor Show. They have been created in partnership with Spanish camper van converter BRAM Technologies. Other companies offer similar conversions in other European markets.
Nissan’s confidence in the quality of its entire light commercial vehicle range is supported by its market-leading five-year / 160,000 km warranty. BRAM Technologies provides a two-year warranty on all conversion elements.
