September Dealer Ambassadors Announced

Three Nissan dealership employees have been recognised for going above and beyond to look after the brand’s customers, earning them September’s Dealer Ambassador of the Month honours.

The monthly award, which is open to all staff in the Nissan retail network, recognises an individual’s outstanding commitment to customers and colleagues. It is designed to celebrate best practice and examples of exceptional customer service. In September, Sales Manager Jamie Davidson and Service Manager Rachael Bartlett both at Bristol Street Motors Chesterfield, and Rob Wigston, Sales Consultant at Motorline Medway, won praise from NMGB directors and 350 N-GAGE points each.

Rachael and Jamie were nominated after making a customer’s day when her Qashqai broke down on the way to the airport. Jamie drove the customer to the airport so she could catch her plane, while Rachael’s work to get her back on the road when she returned went above and beyond.

The customer wrote: “We made it onto our flight with only minutes to spare, and could not be more grateful to Jamie and his team for getting us there, but not only that, we could enjoy our holiday knowing that Jamie or a colleague would ALSO be happy to collect us from the airport on our return!!

“We never expected the continued support after already generously getting us where we needed to be, and feel that it was way above and beyond anything we could have asked for, and MUST be acknowledged for the excellent customer experience that it was.

She added: “Rachael has been amazing on the phone, double checking any and all repairs with me and keeping her promise not to go ahead with any works without checking with me first. She has been so reassuring and so helpful and I can’t thank her enough.”

Also named as an Ambassador of the Month for his exceptional customer service was Rob Wigston, who not only gave great customer service last month but three years ago, prompting the customer to return and ask for his assistance.

The customer said: “I have had superb service three years ago and recently from the same member of staff. I have recommended him and therefore Nissan to others who have purchased a vehicle from him.”

The Brand Ambassador of the Month awards will continue throughout 2019 and senior staff are invited to nominate their best team members over the coming months. The deadline for October’s Ambassadors will be November 7th.
