AS regular visitors to Nissan Insider will know, Micra has teamed up with Elle, the world’s biggest-selling fashion magazine, to create the special edition Nissan Micra Elle.
More details have now been released of the marketing activity that will help drive sales of this distinctive and stylish car.
As well as appealing to the traditional Micra buyer, this model will allow the company to communicate to a younger buyer. The Micra Elle is now on sale, priced from £12,000.
Micra Elle combines sophisticated technology with effortless style. It is available in three stunning colours, Shiraz Red, Alabaster White and the unique all-new Atlas Blue.
Special features include 15-inch titanium alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, sporty rear spoiler, intelligent keyless entry and push-button start.
Discreet Elle badges on the tailgate and front wings, front floor mats and door guards will mark the car out on the high street.
And every customer who purchases the Micra Elle will be eligible to a free year’s subscription to Elle magazine.

Grainne Arnold, advertising and media manager at Nissan Communications, said: ‘We’ll be doing all we can to put the Micra Elle on customers’ shopping lists, with a campaign which will run from October 2012 to July 2013.
‘This will feature a double-page advertorial each month in Elle Magazine and seven adverts in Red Magazine.
‘The special-edition model will have continuous presence on the Elle website and across their social media platforms, which attract over 550,000 followers.
‘We will also be contacting 16,500 people through our CRM campaign to promote the partnership.’
