A NEW trim level has joined the X-Trail range, bringing sporty looks and a raft of standard equipment to Nissan’s popular 4×4.
The new n-tec+ grade sits between the Acenta and flagship Tekna models, standing out from the off-road crowd with 18-inch alloy wheels, a chrome finish to the front fog lamps and side bars with side steps.
On the inside the X-Trail n-tec+ really pulls out all the stops. Standard equipment includes Nissan Connect with a five-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system that also packs Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free telephone calls and music streaming.
The n-tec+ also adds Nissan’s acclaimed Around View Monitor 360 degree parking system, which features colour front, rear and passenger side cameras, ensuring that owners will always have the safety of a bird’s-eye view when maneouvring.
An electric tilt and slide panoramic sunroof, plus Intelligent key for keyless entry and start complete the equipment list. And that’s in addition, of course, to climate control, cruise control, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and rear privacy glass.
Also standard is the X-Trail’s strong performance both on and off-road.
Under the bonnet is a 173PS 2.0-litre dCi turbodiesel engine, which has 360Nm of torque and is capable of towing 2,200kg. Nissan’s All-Mode 4×4-i system with Uphill Start Support and Downhill Drive Support makes sure the X-Trail is surefooted whatever the weather.
Complimentary upgrade
The X-Trail n-tec+ is on sale now and costs £27,790. However, for a limited time only, Nissan is offering a complimentary upgrade to retail customers that will save them £2,000, dropping the price of an X-Trail n-tec+ to just £25,790 – the same as an Acenta model.
The X-Trail n-tec+ is also available with three years zero percent finance and three years low cost servicing for £399 too.
