ABERDEEN’S official Nissan retailer, Specialist Cars, will move to a purpose-built multi-million pound dealership on the city’s Balmoral Business Park next year.
The state-of-the-art outlet will sit on a prime 3.5-acre site with excellent visibility from the A956 main road into the Granite City from the south.
The move is part of a major £4 million investment by parent company John Clark Motor Group.
The new dealership, which is scheduled to open in April, will create 20 new jobs immediately with further employment expected as the businesses develop.
John Clark, Chairman and Managing Director of the John Clark Motor Group, said: “The new development confirms the group’s continuing commitment to Aberdeen, where I established the original John Clark dealership 36 years ago.
“As the largest and most established premium car supplier in Aberdeen the local market is extremely important to us. The new purpose-built Nissan sites will provide our dealership team with the facilities they need to develop their businesses and provide the very best levels of customer service.”
Designed to be Nissan’s flagship outlet in Scotland, the new outlet is geared towards improving the customer experience every step of the way.
The brand’s new showroom will cover more than 15,000 sq ft and will have space to display eight of the latest Nissan models in a light and airy environment.
It will also act as a specialist Nissan high performance centre, enabling it to sell and service sought after models including the awesome GT-R supercar.
In addition, the dealership will also be equipped as an EV (electric vehicle) dealer, with a specialist service bay for the Nissan LEAF – the world’s bestselling 100% electric car – and an on-site rapid charger.
