NISSAN recorded sales of 28,836 units in the UK last month, marking the highest September market share at 5.5%.
Qashqai was the fastest growing top 10 model in September with its volume up 48%.
European retail sales for September stood at 77,720 units (Nissan and Datsun), representing a market share of 4.5%.
Nissan France recorded its best ever September market share at 3.8% with 7,099 units sold.
Nissan Germany recorded sales of 6,942 units with a market share of 2.6% marking another month as bestselling Japanese brand.
Nissan Spain recorded September sales of 4,615 with a market share of 5.6%. Qashqai was the highest selling crossover with 17.5% of the market.
Nissan Italy recorded sales of 5,163 units in September with Nissan LEAF the highest selling electric car in the Italian market with cumulative sales of 327 units for the period Jan-September 2015.
Nissan Central East Europe recorded its best ever market share at 4.2%.
Datsun sales in Russia totalled 2,578 units.
