LOYAL Nissan customer Marion Loveridge is the first motorist in the UK to drive away in an all-new Nissan Micra.
Marion picked up the keys for her top-of-the-range Micra Tekna at Bishops Nissan in Guildford.
It is Marion’s fifth Nissan in 25 years, previously owning a Nissan Note, Qashqai and two older Micra models.
However, all eyes are now on Nissan’s newest offering, which is sure to turn heads around the Guildford area, being the very first on the road in the UK.
It was when Marion was having her Nissan Note serviced last year that her eyes were drawn to the all-new Micra, arriving at Nissan showrooms across the UK this March.
And even though her first sight of the car was in a brochure, she loved it so much that she knew it was the next car for her.
Marion said: “All it took was one look at the new Micra and I thought ‘wow’. I’m really excited now it’s arrived and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel.”
Longer, wider and lower than ever before, the new Micra is available with three engines – a 0.9-litre 90 PS three-cylinder downsized turbo petrol, a 1.5-litre 90 PS diesel and a 1.0-litre 73 PS naturally aspirated petrol
It is also a technology leader, with a number of features that are not only new to the Micra but new to the segment. These include Intelligent Lane Intervention, a safety system which smoothly corrects the Micra back on to the right path should it be required.
