SIX more locations have been appointed as LEAF retailers improving regional coverage for customers of the zero-emissions car.
Now there are a total of 32 dealers across the UK who will be equipped to sell and service the 100 per cent electric Nissan LEAF.
The six new dealers will be the first in the UK to install the new, smaller quick chargers, which are currently under development, in early 2012.
They are already equipped with a twin-head Podpoint charging post and a 16A charging unit, meaning all EV owners can top up their charge when visiting the dealership.
All of the new EV retailers will also have a fully trained EV relationship manager who will act as a single point of contact at the dealership for LEAF customers.
Each EVRM has been put through an intensive training programme to understand all aspects of owning and driving the 100 per cent electric car and will be able to assist Nissan LEAF customers with any queries they may have.
The new dealerships joining the network are:
- Holdcroft Nissan, Stoke
- Macklin Motors, Glasgow
- Trenton, Hull
- WLMG, Reading
- WLMG, Mill Hill
- Wessex Garages, Bristol
