THREE of the most committed employees in the Nissan dealer network have each enjoyed an early Christmas present by being announced as a ‘Brand Ambassador Of The Month’ for November.
The Brand Ambassador Of The Month award replaces the previous Dealer Staff Of The Month award, the change recognising the importance of the accolade and referencing that the winners are outstanding ambassadors for the brand in their role and how they interact with customers and colleagues.
The incentive, which is organised by Nissan Motor GB and is designed to celebrate best practice and exceptional individual performance, saw Mary Heston of W.R. Davies, Niall O’Brien of Ancaster South Croydon and Steven Johnson of Parks Irvine, all win praise from NMGB directors and 350 N-GAGE points each.
November’s winners were chosen after they were nominated by senior figures at their respective dealerships.
Commending Mary, who is the Motability Specialist at W.R. Davies, Sales Manager James Walterssaid: “Mary consistently provides a level of service that is rarely seen in the motor trade. She receives the highest of praise from all her customers and the dealership has received countless ‘thank you’ cards and hand written letters from Mary’s customers who rate her as the best Motability sales person they have ever dealt with.
“She always has a smile for both staff and customers alike and has even visited customers in hospital when they have been poorly – not for any other reason than the rapport she has built up with that customer. She is amazing and if anyone deserves recognition for their outstanding efforts it is Mary – the W.R. Davies team think the world of her!”
Nominating Niall O’Brien, the After Sales Manager at Ancaster South Croydon, Dealer Principal Robert Smith, said: “Niall lives and breathes customer satisfaction and makes a point of talking to virtually every customer who visits the dealership. His focus on customer satisfaction is outstanding and the feedback we receive is exceptional.”
Parks Irvine’s Service Manager Paul McCluskey, was equally complimentary about Master Technician, Steven Johnson. He said: “Due to a nearby dealer closing recently we have seen a massive up-turn in work and, in particular, some jobs that require the expertise of the Nissan Master Technician. This could have resulted in longer waiting times for all our customers, however Steven was not willing to allow this situation to develop and detract from the good reputation our dealership has and quickly sprang into action.
“He started at 6am and worked flat out through the day and even after closing time to ensure that customers had their vehicles back within agreed time frames. He is a credit to Parks Motor Group and to Nissan GB and customer satisfaction is at the forefront of all that he does.”
The ‘Brand Ambassador Of The Month’ incentive will continue throughout 2019 and NMGB is inviting all Dealer Principals to nominate team members who are going the extra mile and are focused on delivering a great customer experience.
