Nissan dealership KAP Folkestone has supplied 10 vehicles to West Kent NHS for local doctors to visit patients during the Coronavirus crisis.
These Nissan Qashqais and X-Trails will play a vital role in keeping medical experts moving during a difficult time, enabling them to visit people in their homes while carrying the necessary equipment.
KAP Folkestone is also helping motorists by keeping its 30 bay workshop open. This will help key workers who continue to use their car during this period and may require urgent servicing or repairs.
However, the Nissan dealer has also added a free collection and delivery service to prevent other customers unnecessarily leaving the house or missing important work on their car. KAP Folkestone, based on Ross Way, Folkestone, has also adopted stringent cleaning and has reduced contact at all stages for customers and staff.
Managing Director of KAP Motor Group, Garry Furneaux, said: “We’re pleased that we were able to help the NHS by supplying these cars that will be used for such vital work during this difficult time.
“The staff here are continuing to work hard while observing government guidelines, and customers who would like to book urgent repairs or arrange collection of their car can still contact the dealership.”
