It’s called The Big Turn On. It’s not about the future. It’s about today. And Turning On more people than ever to 100 per cent electric driving and having the opportunity to take part in a 24-hour test drive.
And we want you to take part and join in the movement. We want you to help Turn On your territory to 100 per cent electric driving and change it forever. Plus, the more you do to help people to Turn On could win you a great prize and an amazing opportunity to win charging points for your territory.

As awareness grows for electric vehicles and with the run-up to LEAF production commencing at the Sunderland plant, now is the perfect moment to Turn On the UK to the future of motoring.
Getting ready
The Big Turn On is an online-led campaign with the aim of getting one million people to Turn On to 100 per cent electric driving and create their own profile page on The Big Turn On website. Once a customer has ‘Turned On’ they will be entered onto a leader board where they could win a LEAF. They can then gain additional points by taking part in various activities and encouraging other people to Turn On.
The website – www.nissan.co.uk/thebigturnon – will house content and allow customers to:
- ‘Turn On to electric driving’ by simply clicking the ‘Turn On’ button. These will all add up to reaching the one million Turn Ons.
- Contribute to their city’s chance of winning 30 charging points which could ultimately lead to future sales for you.
- Book a 24-hour test drive so they can enjoy the benefits of 100 per cent electric motoring.
- Create a participant page and earn credits in The Big Turn On competition for their chance to win a LEAF.
- View video content on different peoples’ experiences of driving a LEAF.
Timings for the Big Turn On
We have already began our activity through sponsorship of Climate Week where celebrities such as Gillian Anderson, Wayne Hemingway, Marcus Brigstocke and Hugh Dennis endorsed Nissan’s commitment to turn the nation onto a more sustainable future. Content from this activity will help support The Big Turn On campaign. The Big Turn On website launches on 28 March for 100 days with the opportunity to take a 24-hour test drive from 16 April until 5 July.
Your role
There is a significant amount of national support for The Big Turn On but we also need you to fully support it in your dealership. This is a great opportunity to get your local area Turned On, with the opportunity to win charging points and increase showroom traffic and test drives through a new 24-hour test drive programme.
We will be providing you with collateral to support The Big Turn On, plus some new data for prospecting that fits the LEAF profile in your territory. In addition, we have created an exciting incentive programme where you can win 500 N-GAGE points.
