A Nissan car dealership in Barnsley has celebrated scooping a national award.

Pentagon Nissan, in Claycliffe Road, won the Nissan Motability Dealer Award for its performance over a quarter.

The award recognises all round excellence in sales and customer care in Motability, a national charity scheme allowing disabled people an affordable way to stay mobile.

Sales Manager Matt Stokes said: “This award is tribute to the hard work of all the staff at Pentagon Nissan Barnsley.

“We have a team of committed employees who give their all. It’s nice to see that being rewarded.”

The Barnsley dealership is one of the top-performing Nissan showrooms in the country.

Earlier this year Pentagon Nissan’s General Manager, Mike Cox, was rewarded for his dealership’s performance in the company’s ‘Engage and Connect – Go Wild For Electric’ incentive campaign.
