BRISTOL Street Sheffield Nissan has started 2019 in a big way in more ways than one with the transformation of its showroom.
The dealership, located on the city’s Attercliffe Road, has just completed the final touches to its fully refurbished showroom – the works representing a massive £1.5 million investment by its parent company, Bristol Street Motors, and nearly doubling its size.
In addition to growing its facility, Sheffield Nissan is also looking to enlarge its team in 2019. With the increase in size of both its sales and workshop facilities, Sheffield Nissan is expecting to take on further technicians and sales executives in the months ahead.
Such is the size of the fully refurbished showroom that it is now one of the largest standalone Nissan dealerships in the north of England.
Starting in June 2018, the refurbishment has seen the Nissan showroom extended into another part of the building, which was previously dedicated to another brand, with the result that 12 Nissan models can now be displayed. The increase in space also means that Sheffield Nissan has an inside display of Nissan commercial vehicles for the first time, plus two dedicated ‘handover’ areas.
The increase in space has been complemented with the installation of Nissan’s latest retail concept design. This cutting edge showroom concept includes such features as a welcoming ‘Re-fuel‘ lounge where customers can relax with a hot drink and an innovative design lab, which allows them to interactively configure their new dream Nissan.
Taking centre stage is the new ‘canopy of light’ which showcases the new Nissan LEAF and is the first thing that visitors see when they enter the showroom.
Aftersales customers enjoy the expertise of the dealership’s manufacturer-trained technicians with all work, spanning servicing to repair and MoTs to tyre replacement, undertaken in Nissan Sheffield’s workshop.
Outside, there are three Electric Vehicle chargers, which represents the ever-increasing amount of local drivers switching to the pure-electric Nissan LEAF and Nissan e-NV200, and an enlarged display of pre-owned CARED4 vehicles. This can now accommodate a further 30 vehicles, taking the total amount to xxand offering customers greater choice.
David Orriell, General Manager, Sheffield Nissan, said: “The investment demonstrates the confidence that Bristol Street Motors has in the Sheffield area and the Nissan franchise. We have been fortunate to increase the size of the dealership, which will enable us to recruit additional colleagues in the new year and the increased vehicle capacity and refurbished features will enhance our current customer experience.
“We have bolstered our business and local fleet centre, with a dedicated van area and consultation section, and we are hoping that local companies in the area will take advantage of this. The dealership and facilities look fantastic, we have a brilliant team in place and we look forward welcoming customers to see the finished result.”
