A BURY dealership is lending its support to an annual Christmas present campaign to help children in poverty.
RRG Nissan Bury is taking part in Mission Christmas, run in partnership by Radio Station Key 103 and the Manchester Evening News.
The Bolton Street dealership is an official drop-off point where people can leave presents which will then be given to local youngsters who may not otherwise get gifts over the festive period.
Last year thousands of generous people gave presents helping a staggering 37,000 children. This Christmas the campaign is hoping to help 60,000 youngsters.
Mike Prince, Dealer Principal at RRG Nissan Bury, said: “We’re asking our customers to buy just one extra present this year so we can donate it to a disadvantaged child and make their Christmas morning a little brighter. All our staff are getting involved – we hope local residents can also spare an extra gift for a child near them.”
Presents can be dropped off at the Bolton Street dealership until December 20th. For more information call 0161 956 8856.
