A NISSAN dealership has signed a new deal with a football club, which will see it “transfer” over two Navara pick-ups.
RRG Nissan Bury, which has operated in the town for more than 30 years, has entered into a partnership with League One side Bury FC.
It has loaned the club the use of two go-anywhere Nissan Navaras for its ground staff to use as part of their daily duties at the training complex and JD Stadium.
Russell Pritchard, Fleet Specialist at RRG Nissan Bury, said: “We are certain that the partnership will work wonders and we look forward to meeting all the other partners. Good luck to the team and let’s hope we have a successful season.”
Commercial Account Manager Daniel Bowerbank added: “Following the takeover of Manchester City’s training ground in March, we have been on the lookout for a suitable business to work alongside and support our on-going project.
“After meeting with the team at RRG Nissan Bury and rekindling a relationship lost a few years ago, we felt that it was the right time to approach and discuss our projects and ensure that we can collaborate to achieve goals for both businesses.
“The provision of two Nissan Navaras will showcase RRG Nissan Bury at both the club and the training complex and assist the ground-staff in undertaking their daily roles. The club would like to thank RRG Nissan Bury and look forward to working with them over the next two seasons.”
