A MANCHESTER-based Nissan dealer has handed over a year’s supply of fuel to a customer.
Usman Mirza, a Royal Mail entry clerk, has scooped the prize worth £2,500 after being entered into the prize draw to win a year’s supply of fuel when he test drove the new Nissan Micra.
The promotion was part of a unique 24-hour test drive initiative to celebrate the launch of the new Nissan supermini.
Mirza, who currently drives a Nissan Micra, took the new model for a test drive and walked away with a year’s supply of fuel.
‘I really couldn’t believe it when I heard I had won – I never win anything,’ said Mirza. ‘I didn’t even realise I’d been entered into a prize draw, so it was a wonderful surprise.
‘I already own a Nissan Micra and so I know what a great drive it is – the new version is better than ever. I really enjoyed test driving the new Micra and trying out the new parking space measurement device – it works brilliantly.’
Paul Lloyd, general manager at West Way Nissan Manchester, Ardwick, said: ‘We’re delighted for Usman and are confident he will make the most of the year’s supply of fuel. It’s great that we could offer a prize that is so useful and will give Usman the opportunity to beat the ever-surging fuel prices.’
