A NISSAN dealership in Hampshire is making final preparations for the town’s annual triathlon as it enters its third year as sponsor.
WKB Nissan in Waterlooville has seen the event grow significantly since partnering with organisers Portsmouth Triathletes three years ago.
This year, more than 150 will take part in the event on Sunday, July 17th.
The gruelling main race comprises a 600-metre swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run. There’s also have the option of doing a shorter race of a 400 metre swim, 21km cycle and 6km run.
As part of its sponsorship, the Elettra Avenue dealership will give t-shirts to competitors as they cross the finish line.

Racers will be swimming at the Waterlooville Swimming Pool before the cycle route takes them through Cowplain, Lovedean, Clanfield, East Meon and West Meon. The run follows an out and back route to Purbrook Heath.
