A DEALERSHIP came up with a m-m-m-marvellous idea to attract publicity – by asking customers to guess how many of its logos were pasted onto a Nissan Qashqai.
Marshalls of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk stuck almost 1,000 individual M’s onto its demonstrator vehicle.
It was then taken around local shows as well as being parked outside the showroom with a prize of an iPad Mini up for grabs to the person with the closest guess.
The competition attracted plenty of local interest – one entrant even went to the trouble of leaving a letter with their guess under the wiper blade of a staff member’s house overnight.
The winner with the closest estimate was customer John Duncan and his wife Louise. They recently came in to collect the iPad Mini from Sales Manager Nick Joannides.
