STRAITON-based Nissan car dealership, Alex F Noble and Son, which this year is celebrating its 80th anniversary, has another reason for popping the champagne corks.
It has achieved a commended award for its work with Motability Operations, the company that manages the Motability Car and Motability Powered Wheelchair and Scooter Schemes.
The accolade is part of the annual Motability Supplier Awards, now in their seventh year.
Taking the commended status award in the ‘fleet size over 600’ category, Alex F Noble was recognised for its excellence, efficiency and innovation. In particular, Motability has focused the awards on those who deliver exceptional customer service.
Mike Betts, chief executive, Motability Operations, said: ‘Excellent customer service and strong marketing support for Motability have seen the fleet size at Alex F Noble and Son increase significantly.
‘The team has also achieved their commendation for their proactive approach to training, and impressive willingness to literally go the extra mile, regularly collecting and delivering cars to the Scottish highlands and islands. Well done to all at Alex F Noble and Son Ltd.’
Dedication and hard work
David Noble, Dealer Principal at Alex F Noble Nissan, said: ‘I’m exceptionally proud of our team. The awards generate stiff competition and Motability is renowned for its high standards so I’m thrilled the dedication and hard work involved in achieving these standards is being recognised.’
Motability Operations manages the worry-free Motability scheme for more than 600,000 disabled people and their families.
Anyone who receives the higher rate mobility component of the disability living allowance or the war pensioners’ mobility supplement can exchange this monthly payment to lease a brand new car, scooter or powered wheelchair through the Motability Scheme.
