DORCHESTER Nissan has teamed up with a local charity as it prepares for Dorset County Show later this week.
The dealership has invited GO Girls! – a charity that supports women with gynaecological cancers – to share its stand at the show.
The move will help the charity raise awareness of its important work as well as valuable funds at the start of gynaecological cancer awareness month.
A luxury hamper will be raffled to help boost the fundraising total. Families can also win a prize by correctly guessing the number of jelly beans in a jar.
GO Girls! Is currently raising money to support Dorset County Hospital’s cancer appeal and to fund a GO Girls! consulting room.
Tony Jordan, Dealer Principal at Nissan Dorchester, said: “As a local business, it’s fantastic to support a great cause such as GO Girls! We are delighted to have them joining us for the two days and help them in their important awareness and fund raising work.”
Teresa Wolff, Vice Chair of GO Girls! said “We are hoping for a fantastic two days at the show with Dorchester Nissan.”
