A STAFFORDSHIRE dealership is celebrating a 30-year partnership with Nissan.
Polesworth Garage in Grendon Road, Polesworth, has held a franchise with the carmaker for the past three decades, making it one of the oldest Nissan dealerships in the country.
In that time the family-run firm has employed many local people, with a number of those working for in excess of 10 years with the dealership. It can also boast a loyal customer base, and still has returning customers from the 1980s coming into its showroom.
Andrew Marven, Finance Director at Polesworth Garage, said: “We’ve had lots of offers from other manufacturers in that time but we have always been comfortable with Nissan.
“As we are a family-run firm – which prides itself in the service we provide – we benefit from good customer loyalty, and much of that is also down to the vehicles we sell.
“Nissan has always provided a good product and it’s getting better all the time. The range we have at the moment – from the all-electric Nissan LEAF to the Nissan Qashqai – is the best on the market, and the best it’s ever been. We hope to continue successfully with Nissan for many years to come.”
