GLYN HOPKIN has relocated from its Nissan Leyton business in east London to a purpose-built dealership in nearby Manor Park.
The new state-of-the-art facility in Romford Road has a 15-vehicle showroom to showcase the entire Nissan range plus a 20-bay workshop – the largest in the Glyn Hopkin Group – and plenty of customer parking, as well as a massive CARED4 used car display. In addition, it is one of the first UK dealerships completed to the new ‘Nissan Retail Concept’ – the manufacturer’s new visual identity – inside and outside.
Glyn Hopkin Group Managing Director Fraser Cohen said the major investment had come about as a result of continued and significant development around the Olympic Park area, where the Leyton showroom was, which had made it increasingly inaccessible.
He added: “These really are exciting times for the Nissan and Glyn Hopkin brand as we continue to go from strength to strength with more sales, more customers and more exciting new models to choose from.”
To mark the move, Nissan Motor (GB) Managing Director James Wright visited the Manor Park dealership, where he unveiled a commemorative plaque.
