AS THE excitement around the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games continues, the Nissan Insider Dealer PR team is hitting the road in an all-gold Nissan LEAF and may be visiting your dealership.
Starting on Tuesday, the team is embarking on a whistle-stop PR tour of the country, taking in as many dealerships and dealer groups as they possibly can.
They will make the journey in a gold LEAF identical to the ones that will be presented each of Nissan’s gold-winning Team GB and ParalympicsGB athlete ambassadors.
At each location the team will prepare a press release for distribution to the local media and other assets for issue on social media.
They will also be keeping a video diary of the tour which will act as a message of congratulations for Britain’s Olympic athletes and good luck for the Paralympics athletes.
Please make the team welcome when they visit and be sure to give Nissan’s athletes an extra big cheer.
Mal Hay of the Nissan Insider team said: “The tour’s a great way for us to spread the Olympic spirit across the network.
“It’s not possible for us to visit every Nissan site but we’ll be pulling out all the stops to make sure every dealer group and independent gets at least one visit. That should mean us visiting more than 100 dealers over the course of the next few weeks.
“We can’t wait to get started.”
He added: “We have planned a route that will take us from the top of Scotland to the tip of Cornwall and to Wales and Northern Ireland.
“Traffic and the like makes it impossible to say exactly when we’ll be visiting each dealership but a member of the team will call and give as much notice as possible.”
