THE hunt is on to find a couple whose first date took place at a Wigan Nissan dealership.
Sparks flew between Nile and Aurette, who met at Chorley Nissan Wigan, on Pottery Road, while Nile — who had driven up from Abergele in Wales to meet her — charged his Nissan LEAF.
The couple, who met online, shared a hot chocolate in the showroom’s cosy waiting area while the LEAF charged, before heading off for a pub lunch.
But the staff didn’t get any further details before they left, and now they want to make sure their dealership is the meeting place for future dates.
Gary Lamb, Sales Manager, said: “We got a few details about them and their amazing story but before we could get the finer points, like contact details, they’d gone for their lunch date!
“We’d love to be the meeting place for these lovebirds for their future dates — and treat them to their next meal out. I really hope this appeal grabs their attention and they get in touch.
