IT’S the familiar line-up of icons we’ve all seen as we approach a motorway service station – but if you look closely, you’ll spot a new addition.
Pictured above, and below right in close-up, is the sign that a charging point has been installed for the benefit of motorway drivers.
And although the name Puddleworth is fictional, the arrival of motorway charging points is very much a reality.
In fact, the first service station charging point opens on Monday at South Mimms, which is situated at the junction of the M25 and the A1 at Bignell’s Corner north of London.
We’ll be covering that on Nissan Insider and our sister website dedicated to the benefits of electric motoring, pure-driving.co.uk.
There’s no doubt about it – life is about to get a whole lot more convenient for drivers of Nissan’s all-electric LEAF, and other EVs.
