FRED Coupe Nissan in Preston had a dress down Friday with a difference when they took part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
Around 15 staff wore the most garish Christmas jumper or top they could find, and gave a donation to the humanitarian charity. The dealership put in its own donation to round it up to £100.
Sales Director Simon Davis said: “This is the first time we’ve ever done this, and it’s the first time I’ve ever owned a Christmas jumper — who knew some of them even came with lights in them?
“It was a fun day all round. We gained a lot of attention and the customers were happy to donate to the cause too, which was great.”
