Nissan has revealed the names of its Dealer and Dealership Ambassadors for Q4 of the current financial year. The incentive scheme places the focus squarely on the delivery of first-class customer service.
Once again, all six winners were praised for going above and beyond the call of duty to care for their customers and should be very proud of their achievements.
Q4 Dealership Ambassadors of the Quarter
Lookers Nissan Sunderland
The first Dealership Ambassador for Q4 is Lookers Nissan Sunderland, where the team have hit the ground running in the short time the business has been open.
Despite only going live at the end of November last year, all colleagues have shown extremely encouraging levels of engagement which bodes well for a bright long-term future!
The initial dealer set-up has gone smoothly, and there has been a great performance against all key KPIs, processes and best-practice benchmarks. In fact, the January scorecard showed Lookers Nissan Sunderland was the number-one dealer in its zone – a great achievement!
These incredible results are largely due to the fantastic proactive engagement from General Manager Billy Taylor and Service Manager Leanne Hutchinson. However, everyone at the dealership has played their part in a tremendous team effort. Well done to all concerned!
Bassetts Nissan Swansea
Bassetts Nissan Swansea has had another record-breaking quarter, exceeding their RPM target by 37 per cent to hit a well-deserved ‘Fast Finish Target’. Moreover, the business recorded the largest volume of registrations in P1 across the entire network – incredible given that they are a single site.
All this was achieved while maintaining a QVOC sales score of 4.97 and an impressive survey response rate of 59 per cent. Recent customer feedback has been extremely complimentary.
One customer said: ‘‘We were greeted by salesman Mike in a very welcoming manner. He was reassuring, helpful and personable and is an asset to the company.’’
Another commented: ‘‘It was our first time buying from Nissan and the welcome we got was incredible.’’ And a third said Bassetts Nissan Swansea was ‘‘the best dealership we have used by far’’. Praise indeed!
Bristol Street Motors Nissan Widnes
Following some recent changes at Bristol Street Motors Nissan Widnes, there has been an uplift in performance at this busy dealership. There’s a positive and welcoming atmosphere when customers arrive, and it’s clear that members of the team enjoy working there.
The team achieved a five-star rating for P1 with a fantastic survey return rate of nearly 75 per cent. Contained within were a huge number of positive comments from satisfied customers.
One said: ‘‘Andy Ling, who dealt with me, was extremely professional – he’s an empathetic salesman.’’
Another added: ‘‘I received absolutely fantastic service. I would highly recommend Bristol Street Motors Nissan Widnes.’’
And a third commented: ‘‘I had a great experience. Kara Jones was brilliant, kind, friendly and made me feel at ease. The whole experience was pressure-free which I loved.’’
Q4 Dealer Ambassadors of the Quarter
Tony Roberts, Hendy Nissan Salisbury
Service advisor Tony Roberts is described as a fantastic member of the team at Hendy Nissan Salisbury and his hard work is truly appreciated by the management team at the dealership.
Every customer who visits the business in Brunel Road receives a warm welcome from Tony – and they are kept informed about the work being carried out on their vehicle every step of the way.
Not surprisingly, Tony receives wonderful feedback in customer surveys. One praised his ‘‘efficient and friendly service’’ and said that because of him, ‘‘the Salisbury branch is the best Nissan dealership I have been to.’’

Paul Williams, Wessex Garages Nissan Cardiff
Paul Williams, a Motability specialist at Wessex Garages Nissan Cardiff, was nominated for a Dealer Ambassador Award because of of his continued commitment to customer care.
Despite having reduced his hours to part-time, he’s more than happy to work longer if necessary. Customers often say that Paul is the deciding factor in their purchase and that they will return to the Hadfield Road dealership so they can deal with him in future.
Paul delivered 62 Motability vehicles in Q4 and received plenty of positive QVOC feedback. He has also won praise from Motability who have thanked him for his efforts.
One customer described Wessex Garages Nissan Cardiff as ‘‘an absolutely first-class dealership’’. They added: ‘‘Paul Williams is a credit to the business with his excellent customer service and knowledge. He makes you feel like a friend.’’
Other clients have delivered equally flattering comments, describing Paul as helpful and friendly, brilliant and outstanding. What more can we say? Well done Paul and keep up the good work!
Lee Brown, Greenhous Nissan, Shrewsbury
Hard-working Lee Brown is a five-star sales executive at Greenhous Nissan Shrewsbury – and has even been described as an absolute legend!
The dealership has received 40 survey returns so far this year, 18 of which have mentioned Lee – and all 18 of those respondents have awarded him the maximum five stars.
One customer recalled their first meeting with Lee, saying: ‘‘It was as if we had been friends for years. Lee is probably the best salesman I have ever come across.’’
Another customer said: ‘‘Lee is the nicest person ever. He treated us kindly and respectfully. We felt like royalty and the treatment when we collected our car was amazing.’’
Well done Lee, your award is clearly well-deserved, as is the case with all our winners for this quarter.

The Dealer Ambassador Awards are open to everyone employed in Nissan’s UK retail network and recognise the lengths staff members go to in order to make the lives of their colleagues and customers that little bit easier.
