WESTOVER Nissan, Bournemouth, was delighted to be asked to help spring a surprise on the groom at the wedding of Helen Bray and Clyde Israel.
The 100 per cent Electric LEAF carried the bride and her father to St Nicholas Church at Worth Matravers and then a completely surprised groom and his new bride were taken from the church to the wedding reception in the LEAF, which was suitably dressed for the occasion in green ribbons.
Helen and her father explained that Clyde had always had a keen interest in all things to do with electric cars and how one day he would try one, so his bride to be arranged a wedding day surprise assisted by Sallyann Tanner, EVRM at Westover Nissan Bournemouth.
Sallyann acted as chauffeur for the day and said: ‘The weather was sunny and the bride looked radiant but the look on the groom’s face as he came through the church gate with his new bride after the ceremony really made the day.
‘During the journey from the church I was asked many questions about the LEAF and how it all worked.’
