A LOYAL customer at a Wincanton Nissan dealership has won a luxury hamper after winning a festive competition.
F J Chalke invited its customers across its various dealerships in the South West to tell them in no more than 100 words what made their perfect Christmas Day and it was Nissan customer Mrs Giles of Bayford, Wincanton, whose entry was drawn for the grand prize.
Maggie Giles, who has been a customer at F J Chalke Nissan, on Wincanton Business Park, for 42 years and calls her car Wiggie, received the luxury hamper from General Manager Martin Berkley.
Her winning entry was: “Driving ‘Wiggie’ to church, then home for lunch with my children and grandchildren at my home. No TV, no mobile phones, but silly games, singing and lots of love and laughter. Marcus and me enjoying red wine and then a special malt whiskey in front of the fire. Later we will Skype my son in law, who is serving in Afghanistan and hopefully my daughter and their children will be able to blow him a kiss!”
Martin said: “The competition was a fun way of engaging with our customers and to promote it our staff across the group shared their favourite Christmas Days as well — it really got us all in the Christmas spirit.
“We’re delighted that one of our most loyal customers, Maggie, won this prize and hope she had a Christmas to remember.”
