The all-new Nissan LEAF has just become even more tempting for UK electric car buyers.
Nissan has announced a new 52kWh battery version of the British-built LEAF, priced from £28,849 including the UK Government’s full £3,750 Electric Car Grant. That makes the latest-generation LEAF more accessible, while still offering an impressive official range of up to 280 miles on a single charge.
That’s a very strong combination: a practical family EV, built in Britain, with generous range and a price that brings the all-new LEAF within reach of even more drivers.
The new 52kWh model is available to order now, joining the longer-range 75kWh version that was introduced earlier this year. Right-hand-drive production has also begun at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, with cars due to arrive at dealerships later this summer.

The 52kWh Advance starts from £30,849 including the grant and adds even more comfort, technology and style. It brings larger dual 14.3-inch display screens, NissanConnect with Google built-in, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 15W wireless phone charger, a heat pump cabin heater and a dimming panoramic sunroof.
Advance also adds features such as 3D rear lamps, a full-length front signature lamp, an illuminated Nissan logo, head-up display, synthetic leather upholstery with fabric inserts, an electric powered tailgate and multicolour ambient lighting.
For buyers who like their EVs to feel a little more special, Advance looks like a very attractive step up.
A LEAF for different kinds of driver
The arrival of the 52kWh version gives the all-new LEAF range a wider spread of options.

Built in Britain

Right-hand-drive production of the all-new LEAF has now begun at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, continuing the model’s strong UK story. The new LEAF is being produced alongside Qashqai and Juke as part of Nissan’s EV36Zero project.
