Nissan has announced the appointment of Andrew Humberstone as Vice President, Independent Markets Europe.
In this key leadership role, Humberstone will oversee Nissan’s operations across the region’s independent markets, drive sustainable growth, and reinforce the company’s customer-centric transformation.
A seasoned automotive executive with more than 30 years’ of global experience, Humberstone joins from his most recent role as Managing Director of Nissan Oceania. Before that, he was MD of NMGB for four years.

His career is defined by a visionary leadership approach and a proven ability to lead large‑scale organisational change across diverse markets and cultures.
Having lived and worked in more than a dozen countries, he brings a unique global perspective and cultural fluency to the European leadership team.
Humberstone is recognised for his principle of “clarity in complexity,” successfully navigating business turnarounds and transformations while fostering strong, transparent partnerships with dealer networks. His appointment reflects Nissan’s strategic focus on scaling operations and delivering long-term value in high-potential markets.
