NISSAN has appointed Mark Johnson to the role of National Leasing Manager with immediate effect.
Mark has been with the brand since March 2018, previously working as a District Performance Manager working with the dealer network. In his new role, he takes responsibility for all of Nissan’s leasing relationships, including managing a team of Contract Hire and Leasing Managers as well as the Fleet Aftersales (Customer 1st) Programme. He also leads the brands ongoing relationships with the Conversions network.
Prior to that, he held roles as National Fleet Sales Manager for Volkswagen Passenger Cars and as a Regional Fleet Sales Manager for Toyota, as well as having experience in Product Marketing and Retail Programmes Planning.
“This is a great time to be joining the Nissan Fleet Team.” he said. “The team at Nissan absolutely “mean business” in so many ways. Nissan are the true pioneers of electric vehicles with the incredible Leaf readily available and accessible in the market today. On top of this we have great vehicles as well as a market leading Fleet Hub due to be launched later this month.”
“The team are fully committed and focused on further developing Nissan’s leasing growth strategy as well as supporting our customers and partners to acquire vehicles that are perfect for their business needs. I’m delighted to be able to join the team at this time and very much looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
Iker Lazzari, Nissan’s Fleet Director, added: “It’s great to have Mark on the fleet senior management Team, and having worked with him before I know he has the focus and energy to keep building on our strategy and ultimately improving our services and value to the leasing and conversion community.”
