A FAMILY-RUN Nissan dealer in Cwmbran is in seventh heaven after it scooped an award for its excellent sales and service to disabled car buyers.
Staff at Newtown Motors on Mona Close were presented with the regional award for the seventh time by the charity Motability after demonstrating outstanding customer sales and service to drivers using the scheme to lease a car.
The latest award recognises sales and servicing and is based on customer feedback and reviews.
But for the dealership’s Service Manager Leigh Gammon and Motability Specialists Phil Waite and Natalie McCullough, it has always been about putting the needs of customer first.
Leigh said: “We are all delighted to have been given this award for the seventh time. But at the same time we feel we are just doing our job by providing an outstanding customer service to every motorist.”
Neil Williams, Sales Manager at Newtown Motors, said: “As a family-owned dealership we recognise the importance of putting the customer first and we are looking forward to welcoming more Motability customers through our doors in the future.”
The Motability scheme is a charity that provides mobility solutions for disabled people and their families in the UK.
It allows people with disabilities to use the government-funded mobility allowance to lease a new car, which makes it more affordable.
