AN award-winning Nissan dealer in Lancashire is gearing up for further growth after hiring 11 new starters.
The Chorley Group, which has five dealerships across the North West, has signed up a dozen recruits to its newly-formed Trainee Sales Academy.
The recruitment drive is part of the family-run firm’s commitment to growing its own staff.
HR Director Stacey Turner said: “We’re passionate about developing and investing in our own people so we recently took the decision to launch our own Trainee Sales Academy.
“The aim is to train, nurture and develop future talent to support our growing team and ensure we are delivering a first class customer experience 100 per cent of the time.
“Young people are the future of our business and from our experience, they bring lots of energy, enthusiasm and fresh ideas, which are important ingredients.
“We already have close links with training providers such as Blackburn College and Blackpool and The Fylde College and the creation of our new Trainee Sales Academy is another important part of our future growth strategy.”
The Chorley Group won the award for Best Customer Service at the Red Rose Awards in March and was also crowned Nissan’s UK Retailer of the Year for a sixth consecutive year.
