NISSAN dealers have had their first chance to get up close and personal with the all-new Nissan Micra.
They were introduced to the incredible new city car and given their first chance to get behind the wheel at an exciting launch event at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry.
Over the course of five days, the event was attended by investors, dealer principals, sales managers and industry specialists, including residual value setters – all helping to generate ‘buzz’ ahead of the car’s showroom launch.
But, in addition to introducing the all-new Micra, the event was a great opportunity to officially introduce NMGB’s new Managing Director, Alex Smith.
He took the opportunity to outline his assessment of the current state of the Nissan franchise and to outline his plans for its future, with a focus on increasing network profitability and making Nissan the number one Asian automotive brand in the UK.
Alex was followed onto the stage by NMGB directors Leon Brannen (Network Development and Quality), Chris Marsh (Marketing), Darren Payne (Sales) and Mike Thompson (Aftersales) who, one-by-one, drilled down into the details of how the brand will achieve its ambitions.
