The Nissan Formula E Team is delighted to announce a renewal of its sponsorship agreement with long-standing partner Alpine Tech for the remainder of Season 12 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, to include branding on the Japanese outfit’s racecars and drivers’ overalls.

The team’s existing partnership with Alpine Tech has been a key factor in the squad’s journey through the GEN3 era.

The French manufacturer has assisted the development of the Nissan e‑4ORCE 05 Formula E powertrain through a very synergetic partnership and has helped the Nissan Formula E Team to win six races and the Season 11 Drivers’ World Championship with Oliver Rowland.

In addition, the two companies have also collaborated closely in the development of young racers, with several of Nissan Formula E Team’s rookie drivers having a pre-existing relationship with Alpine.

Tommaso Volpe, managing director and team principal of the Nissan Formula E Team, said: “We’re very happy to showcase the Alpine Tech brand for the remainder of the GEN3 season, as our partnership and collaboration has been key to our success in this era of Formula E.

Valuable support

“We’re excited to continue working with Alpine Tech. Our relationship is a broad one with several different touchpoints, making their support very valuable.”

Axel Plasse, VP at Alpine Tech, said: “This partnership with Nissan Formula E Team is a perfect example of optimisation of talent and expertise.

“It showcases how two highly competitive organizations like Alpine Tech and the Nissan Formula E Team can combine their efforts to push the boundaries of efficiency and power density, developing the highest-performing electric powertrains in the world.”
