Nissan Formula E Team’s rookie and simulator driver Abbi Pulling will take to the track in Valencia later this month for the second-ever all-women’s test.
Pulling has plenty of experience in the Nissan e-4ORCE 05, topping the first of these sessions last year before also participating in the Berlin Rookie Test during Season 11. She has also completed simulator work as part of her role, which was announced in June, and attended multiple race weekends with the team.
As well as her responsibilities with Nissan Formula E Team, the F1 Academy champion has been racing in the GB3 Championship in 2025, securing a podium during a recent event at Brands Hatch.

Pulling will embark on her first outing for the Japanese squad of Season 12, the final campaign under the current GEN3 regulations, at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. The test will take place on the final day of pre-season testing on October 31st.
Tommaso Volpe, managing director and team principal of the Nissan Formula E Team, said: “We’re very excited to see Abbi back on track after her appearances with the team last season, and to keep working with her and monitoring her progress.
“She has already demonstrated how skilled and professional she is, and we are all enjoying collaborating with her regularly since she officially joined the team back in June.
Working together
“This test is another great opportunity for Abbi to keep building on her experience and knowledge of the Nissan e-4ORCE 05, which will not only benefit her as a driver and in her role with us, but also the team. We have an ambitious programme for her – she definitely has what it takes to succeed, and we’re all looking forward to having her back in the car.”
Abbi Pulling said: “I’m excited to get back on track with the Nissan Formula E Team and continue helping them to prepare for the upcoming season. My target for this test is to once again get to grips with the Nissan e-4ORCE 05 and build on my learnings from the Berlin Rookie Test. I’ve really enjoyed my time with the crew over the past year and I’m looking forward to continuing to work together at the test and in the simulator during the 2025/26 campaign.”
