NISSAN hopes for glory this year in the FIA GT1 World Championship by fielding two teams and four cars.
2010 saw Nissan secure victories in both Championship and qualifying races, but this year the manufacturer is placing high hopes on continued success.
This year, a total of four GT-Rs will be participating in the championship for two teams: the returning Sumo Power GT, and new team JRM Racing, who replace Swiss Team Racing from last year.
Racing for JRM will be Peter Dumbreck in car No. 22, who will be partnered by Richard Westbrook. The No. 23 car will be an all-German affair, with Michael Krumm and Lucas Luhr.
Ex-Formula One duo Ricardo Zonta and Enrique Bernoldi will be behind the wheel of the No.20 car for Sumo Power GT, and in the No.21 car, Jamie Campbell-Walter returns for a second season, partnered this time round by Australian David Brabham.
The first round is at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi on March 26. Check back with Nissan Insider to find out how the Nissan teams got on.
