EVER had to turn away a customer because you haven’t got a part in stock for their older Nissan?
Turn away no more because Nissan has launched an official parts, accessories and merchandise store on eBay.co.uk – the UK’s largest online marketplace.
The Nissan GB official store opened for business last week and aims to make buying easier for customers wanting Nissan genuine parts and accessories – especially parts for Nissans that are no-longer built.
The site is Nissan’s first venture into e-commerce and allows the company to reach the 17.7m unique users that visit eBay.co.uk every month, for whom motor parts and accessories is one of the most popular categories.
All items sold through the Nissan GB official store will be packaged and posted for free directly from Nissan’s parts warehouse in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. All products will come with a standard 12 month warranty.
Parts including filters, mirrors, brake pads and discs will be available for a selection of models, including Qashqai, Micra and Note. Owners of models such as Primera and Almera will also be able to buy online, as research has shown that there is still a high demand for genuine parts on older models which may no longer be sold through the network.
In addition to parts, accessories and merchandise such as GT-R iPhone4 covers and polo shirts will also be available for models including GT-R and 370Z.
Robert Lujan, Nissan’s Aftersales Director, said: ‘We understand that owners of older Nissan models may not have visited their local Nissan dealer for their parts needs.
‘Our new eBay store is perfect for them. These customers can shop at their convenience and be safe in the knowledge that they are buying genuine Nissan parts and accessories.’
Angus McCarey, UK Retail Director, eBay, said: ‘More and more brands are recognising the importance of selling across all channels – whether that’s through their own website, via mobile, or by using platforms like eBay.
‘We are delighted to have Nissan join the 100 well-known brands that already sell new and fixed price goods through our site, and fully expect that sales will show Nissan owners value the convenience of buying parts online.’
