NISSAN models are available with a suite of advanced safety technologies to reduce the chances of an accident, including Around View Monitor, Blind Spot Warning and Forward Emergency Braking.
However, it’s inevitable bumps and scrapes will still happen, so Nissan has launched an innovative new scheme to help customers get their pride and joy back to showroom condition as quickly as possible.
The Painted Bumper Programme is designed to provide drivers with a fast and efficient method of getting their vehicle repaired after a low-speed impact. European insurance industry figures reveal around 70% of accidents are currently categorised in this way.*
By having pre-painted bumpers in warehouse stock, dealers can guarantee exact colour matching, a factory-quality finish every time, next-day delivery to their workshop and improved customer satisfaction.
The Painted Bumper Programme is available on the current Nissan Juke, Qashqai and Note, as well as all predecessor versions of the three cars. Including the Qashqai+2, that makes seven models in total and 28 different exterior colours. The Programme covers both front and rear bumpers, and the paint processes and suppliers involved are very similar to those used in Nissan factories in Europe.
The launch follows the success of the Painted Mirror Caps Programme, which started in 2012 and offered a similar service on door mirrors.
Vincent Wijnen, Vice-President for After Sales, Nissan Europe, commented: “The Painted Bumper Programme is the perfect illustration of Nissan’s core values – exceptional quality and outstanding customer service. It will bring benefits to both Nissan owners and retailers.”
