NISSAN has been named Northern Ireland’s Fleet Manufacturer of the Year in the prestigious UTV Business Eye Awards 2014.
Britain’s biggest carmaker took the honour at a lavish ceremony held at the Culloden Hotel and Spa near Belfast.
The award was made in recognition of Nissan’s growing fleet presence in the fleet sector – it’s now the fourth biggest in Northern Ireland – and its impressive sales and customer service performance.
The judging panel also praised the evolution of the Nissan range and its appeal to both fleet operators and company car drivers, the brand’s leadership of the electric vehicle sector and the strength and breadth of its model line-up.
Receiving the award, Michael Stewart, Corporate Sales Planning Manager at Nissan Motor (GB), said: “We are absolutely over the moon to win this award.
“2014 has been a fantastic year for us and we now have one of the youngest, freshest and most appealing model ranges out there and it seems to be proving particularly popular with the business community in Northern Ireland.”
