THE UK’s top-performing Nissan EV specialist enjoyed a trip-of-a-lifetime to Tokyo as a reward for his sales success.
Chris Brown, EV Manager at Benfield Nissan in Gateshead, took orders for a staggering 187 new Nissan electric vehicles in his first year in the role.
Joining him on the five-day trip was Martin Watson, Dealer Principal at Benfield Nissan Gateshead, with both getting the chance to meet and chat to Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn at Nissan’s global HQ.
They also got a glimpse of the latest Nissan concept cars at the Tokyo Motor Show.
It’s the second time the Benfield Nissan dealership, in Stoneygate Close, has enjoyed national EV success. Its former EV specialist, Gareth Chandler, was also previously named the UK’s top-selling EV salesman, and is now Regional EV Sales Performance Manager for Nissan.
Chris said: “Benfield’s management team have simply committed to selling EV. They have made sure they have employed the right people with the right skills who are dedicated to effectively sell EV. I have been given the freedom from my management team to manage and control my own strategy, which has produced the results. The Tokyo trip really was a nice touch from Nissan and was greatly appreciated.”
