One of Scotland’s best-known car dealer groups has strengthened its relationship with Nissan by opening a fourth showroom representing the Japanese manufacturer.
The new dealership has been launched by Park’s Motor Group in the town of Motherwell, North Lanarkshire. It joins the three other Nissan sites in the Park’s portfolio which are in Ayr, East Kilbride and Irvine.
The Motherwell venture has created a number of jobs. Twelve people are employed across the sales and aftersales functions, while there are around 40 staff members overall, covering every aspect of the business.
Park’s Motor Group bosses invested a significant sum of money in preparing the site in Airbles Road for readiness. The stylish showroom, which showcases Nissan’s latest corporate identity, has the space to display up to five new cars.
In addition, plenty of high-quality nearly new and used vehicles are available; a well-equipped workshop is up and running to cater for customers’ aftersales requirements; and there are four electric vehicle charging points. Back inside the building, complimentary refreshments and free wi-fi are available in a comfortable customer lounge.

Park’s Motor Group couldn’t be choosing a better time to expand with Nissan. Two new all-electric models – All New LEAF and All New MICRA – will be arriving soon. Other cars in the range such as Qashqai and ARIYA continue to prove popular.
