ONE OF the country’s most successful debt recovery agencies has chosen a fleet of Nissan vehicles to help meet the rapidly increasing demand for its services.
Premium Collections, which has its headquarters in Altrincham, Cheshire, operates a 160-strong Nissan fleet comprising of Qashqai, Juke, Pulsar and Note models. Its team of specialised collectors use the innovative vehicles to complete the 10-12,000 commercial and consumer debt recovery commissions it undertakes every month throughout the UK.
Strong residual values, attractive BIK ratings, the brand’s reputation, low insurance costs and a varied range have all contributed to Nissan models making up over 50 per cent of Premium Collection’s total fleet.
A number of Qashqais are the latest additions, the business purchasing its vehicles outright and changing them on a two-year, 60,000-mile cycle.
Paul Daine, Managing Director of Premium Collections, said: “When we started to build our fleet two years, we took suggestions from our team and they were very keen on Nissan.
“The first cars we bought are now coming up for renewal and while we will be looking at limiting what vehicles we are able to offer our employees, nothing’s going to change when it comes to our choice of Nissan. The vehicles have proved to be very reliable, safe and comfortable, and feedback from our staff has been excellent.”
He continued: “The cars convey the professionalism of our service and the range has really come on in the last few years, even the small models feel big and the specification is excellent, Sat Nav being essential for us and many of our Nissans having it as standard.
“The new Pulsar has proved particularly good and although we have traditionally bought our cars outright, the Contract Hire options offered by Nissan Finance are something that we’re definitely considering for the future.”
