A LANCASHIRE Nissan dealership has been named among the very best vehicle service centres in the UK following a flood of votes from satisfied customers.
Fred Coupe in Walton Le Dale, Preston outperformed hundreds of competitors from across the country in a public poll run by the government-backed industry regulator Motor Codes.
The voting has already seen the family-run dealership named as one of the five best franchised dealers in the North West and the 50 best workshops in the UK.
But in order to make the final shortlist in both the regional and national awards, the dealership needs more votes. Customers have until Sunday, 24 March to have their say at www.motorcodes.co.uk.
If the dealership receives enough backing, it will go forward to be scrutinised by a panel of leading industry experts, including Motor Codes managing director Chris Mason and television presenter Vicki Butler-Henderson, as it bids to claim the coveted overall title of Motor Codes UK Golden Garage 2013.
The news comes just months of the dealership was awarded a much sought after Nissan Global Award in recognition of its sales success and first-class customer care.
Delighted Fred Coupe Director, John Coupe, said: ‘It’s always nice to receive awards but what matters most to us is the recognition of our customers.
‘The fact that so many of our customers have taken the time to go online and vote for us is fantastic and proves that we must be doing something right.
‘They are the most important element of our business and we try to never lose sight of that.’
A Nissan dealer for almost 40 years, Fred Coupe boasts a state-of-the-art workshop with seven service bays, including a highly-specialist electric vehicle bay.
The dealership’s aftersales team is led by long-serving Service Manager, Brian Carter, pictured, and is made-up of experienced manufacturer-trained technicians.
