A PRESTON Nissan dealership is celebrating after winning a national award for its electric vehicle sales — for the second quarter running.
Chorley Nissan Preston, on Strand Road, were the inaugural winners of Nissan’s National EV Award in late 2016.
And after highly successful first quarter of 2017, they’ve done it again — beating Nissan’s set target of EV sales by a massive 300%.
Chorley Nissan Preston’s General Manager, Nigel Hargreaves, received the award from Nissan GB Managing Director Alex Smith, at a ceremony in London.
He said: “It’s a great honour to receive this award and to win it twice in a row is a huge achievement. It’s testament to the hard work of the staff — and to the Preston people who keep coming in to buy Nissan EVs!”
“Hopefully the trend can continue and we can make it a hat-trick.”
