The names of Nissan’s Dealer Ambassadors for April 2021 have been revealed, and all three really do go the extra mile for their colleagues and customers.
The regular award, which is open to everyone working in Nissan’s UK retail network, recognises the great lengths staff members go to in order to make the lives of those around them that little bit easier.
The scheme is designed to celebrate best practice and exceptional individual performance, and as well as receiving official recognition, each winner is awarded 350 N-GAGE points.
For April, the following three people were recognised:
– Darren Fulleylove, service advisor at Bristol Street Motors Nissan.
– Andrew Townson, master technician at Richmond Motor Services Nissan.
– James Chantrey, sales consultant at Sandicliffe Nissan.
All three should be very proud of their achievements.
Darren Fulleylove’s nomination came after he received some glowing feedback from a customer who had been anxious about taking her car in for repairs during the pandemic.
The customer said: ‘‘I don’t deal with stress very well and Darren really took that stress away. He explained everything very clearly and made sure everything was taken care of.’’
Above and beyond
The customer said Darren’s care and attention made her feel valued and added: ‘‘He did everything he could to help me out. It was really nice to have someone who very clearly cares about what they do to be the main point of contact.’’
The second April winner was master technician Andy Townson who works at Richmond Motor Services Nissan in North Yorkshire.
Andy always goes above and beyond the call of duty, enabling Nissan owners who live up to 40 miles away to have their cars looked after at the dealership.
Andy will collect vehicles from customers’ homes without complaint, often rising at 6am or earlier to pick them up.
He also checks all loan cars to ensure their readiness and is frequently the first one to arrive at work and the last one to leave. His nomination explained that he was key to keeping customers happy.
The final April winner, James Chantrey, also won praise for being customer-focused, with a recent Qashqai buyer describing him as ‘‘an absolute gem’’.
A review on Google said: ‘‘He offered the best service possible and overall we went home feeling happy and looked after. A message to the manager: James is a brilliant member of staff. Keep hold of him and look after him well. He deserves recognition for the input he gives to your business. Five stars for brilliant customer service!’’
Praise indeed.
The Dealer Ambassador of the Month Awards continue throughout 2021, where senior members of staff are invited to nominate high-achieving team members through the Dealer Ambassador of the Month portal via N-GAGE.
