NISSAN is offering new and existing LEAF customers an exciting opportunity.
They can claim a free Chargemaster Home Charging Unit with free installation from British Gas and free access to the POLAR public charging network of 1,500 charging points, until the end of March 2013.
The offer is available to all EV customers who live in the Source London, Source East, Midlands and Milton Keynes Plugged-in Places regions.
The Chargemaster Homecharge-i charging unit provides a convenient, affordable and safe way to charge electric vehicles at home – charging around a third faster when compared to a mains supply socket.
The free installation includes a free home charger suitability survey, installation, testing and full instructions on use. It also comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labour and a three-year warranty on the charger.
As well as further reducing a 100 per cent electric LEAF owner’s annual running costs, the offer gives owners the flexibility and freedom of charging their EV from home and while on the move with charging points positioned in key locations such as supermarkets, car parks and shopping centres.
Fast, convenient and safe
Steve McLennan, Marketing Director at Nissan Motor GB Ltd, commented: ‘We welcome this free home charging initiative thanks to the partnership between our home charging provider British Gas and POLAR. We’re proud to be championing this initiative in our EV dealerships.
‘We can now provide Nissan LEAF owners with a fast, convenient and safe way of charging their electric vehicle at home, as well as access to public charge points throughout the Source London, Source East, Plugged-in Midlands and Milton Keynes regions.’
Nissan LEAF owners can check their eligibility at their Nissan EV dealership or online here.
